About SpeedyHost.

SpeedyHost's parent companies NetworkSolutions (Liverpool) (A medium sized computer company) and BC Internet (A small web design and hosting company) were established in 1996 when the Internet was first becoming readily available to the home user. Most of the internet was still text based back then as most people were only using 14.4 modems and few sites were available.

Eventually, as more and more people discovered the Internet, companies started offering cheaper web access, and years later, broadband came along..

NetworkSolutions (Liverpool) and BC Internet merged and bought SpeedyHost. Since the purchase, we have built upon the previous features to create new packages which are flexible and affordable.

Recently, SpeedyHost have been given control of the former clients of webhosting company, BOSS Media UK, which is no longer in business.

We now host thousands of sites across the world, ranging from your small hobby site, all the way to international business clients.

SpeedyHost has now started developing VoIP packages and services for SME's. We realise that not all small businesses can afford to install a mass telephone system, even though they might need to. So, with our new VoIP packages, small businesses can get that phone system for a fraction of the cost.
